The Abu garcia bait casting combo is a great rod & reel combo. This extraordinary combo is better for an intermediate level fisherman. It is easy to learn how to use. Before casting you must push down on the button and hold your finger on the spool. That keeps the lure from falling to the ground. When casting out slow the lure down with your thumb so you do not have a backlash and tangle the spool. I like the smoothness of the cast.
It is a versatile rod because you can
use different kinds of line with it, for example, monofilament, fluorocarbon,
or braid. You can use the rod in fishing
for different kinds of fish. It is mainly used for bass fishing because of the
way you can work the lure through the water, but you can also use it for
fishing for catfish and brim.
