Advice Column Answer

 Dear James,

Thank you for your question. Your question is not uncommon among anglers. When you first cast out the fish may have their back to the lure and it may not see it. But when you get a better or different angle the fish may see the lure and try to bite it. For example, when I was fishing a few days I was fishing with a black and blue chatter bait and I cast out 20 times and caught nothing. But when I went to the other corner and casted into the pond on the same spot in the water I caught a 5lb. fish. So try this technique the next time you are having a hard time catching a fish.
